The Royal Exchange Theatre is committed to supporting artists and shaping opportunities to develop a meaningful and strategic relationship with the theatre, supporting them on a development journey at various points throughout their career.
The way this support manifests itself is varied as we endeavour to establish a range of opportunities that enable us to draw on the incredible talent of the people working here to support the journey of the next generation of Manchester artists. A great deal of this support and these initiatives are subject to additional funding and we are grateful to our donors and the trusts and foundations that enable us to carry out this work.
This does mean that opportunities can be sporadic and arise when we are able to raise sufficient funds to enable us to carry out schemes at an appropriate level. Opportunities are continuously evaluated to ensure that they are as useful as possible to the theatre landscape in Greater Manchester and the Royal Exchange’s place within that.
