Since 2022 we've been connecting with older people to make visible the lives of people who are often under-represented in our Theatres. Across three Dream Projects we've made work with African and African Caribbean elders, East Asian elders, and South Asian elders in Rochdale.
This celebration event will showcase the work of elders from all three Dream Projects.
The Dream Project 2022 elders who created Dominoes & Dahlias (+Oware!) have become an independent theatre company, presenting their work at Manchester Science and Industry Museum and a range of community centres.
We are delighted to invite them back to perform alongside our other Dream Project elders.
So settle down for some live storytelling, music, film and maybe even some Tai Chi.
