Luke Skilbeck will introduce you to the Royal Exchange's Young Collective programme

A practical workshop exploring devising, queer performance making and how to get started. Using writing, movement and gentle creative exercises, this is an introduction to the Royal Exchange‘s Collective programme. Whether you are a practicing artist, or looking to try something new, this workshop is open to all.
The space is held by writer and director Luke Skilbeck (they / he), Creative Director of queer company Milk Presents. Their work celebrates trans bodies, uplifts queer stories and centres trans tenacity, resilience, action and joy.  Luke works extensively as a director and writer, most recently as co-creator of Trans Filth and Joy (with Trans Creative), including supporting Christine and the Queens at the Royal Festival Hall, and directing Tabby Lamb’s How We Swam with the National Youth Theatre.
