Everything you need to know about our new press night process. (it looks long but it is a quick read!)

What’s changed?

To secure your press night tickets you need to use the link below to book yourself and your guest tickets for to the press night. Please ensure you log into your account using the email address that this invitation has been sent to.

Why have we made these changes?

We recognise that sometimes you might have to wait a while to receive confirmation about your tickets to press night. By using our box office system you can make your own reservation and get an instant confirmation straight to your email.

How many tickets can I have?

As always tickets are automatically allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. When you click through to book your tickets it will give you the option to book either 1 or 2 tickets based on our capacity.

Can I choose a specific seat?

No, reservation is unallocated at the time of booking. Our team will issue you with a physical ticket from the press night desk when you arrive at the theatre. Please note that on the evening of the show tickets are allocated form stage level upwards, if you prefer a stage level seat we would advise that you arrive early. The press night desk will open at 6.30pm.

What if I have an access requirement, how do I let you know?

If you, or your guest, have an access requirement we can pre-allocate a seat for you. To ensure we get the correct seats for your and your guests please log into your Royal Exchange account (or create one here), and head to the ‘account section’ to update your access requirements.

What do I do when I arrive on the night?

On arrival please have the email confirming your reservation open or printed out ready to be scanned by one of our team. From there you can go to the press desk as normal, show your digital pass and collect your physical seat tickets.

My guest is running late, how do they get access when they arrive?

If you’re not meeting your guest before arriving to press night, please ensure you forward them your reservation email so they can present this to a member of the team and gain access into the event.

I can no longer attend, how do I release my tickets?

Please email press.night@royalexchange.co.uk to release your seats. Please try and give a minimum of one day’s notice, this will allow for other guests on the waiting list to take your place.

I didn’t manage to get a ticket – how do I get onto a waiting list?

If the press night event is full and you’re unable to book tickets please email press.night@royalexchange.co.uk to be added to the waiting list. If a ticket becomes available we will let you know, and you will then be able to book on via the booking link.
