18-22 November was Discover Creative Careers Week, a national campaign to highlight and promote all the different careers and entry routes into the creative industries.
As part of this, we hosted a Collective Workshop, a Speed Networking Session with Staff, a Careers Workshop and ran a series of videos on all the different jobs we have here at the Exchange on our social channels.
A massive thank you to everyone involved including our panelists, everyone in the videos, the RET team who helped to get everything up and running and Tom, our Schools Co-ordinator, who pulled everything together. Because of this we were able to:
- Engage with a brand new school in a Local Exchange area
- Have 100+ engagement on all the videos
- Reach over 1k people on Facebook
- Bring 5 people who’d never been to the Exchange before into the building for the first time

It was so interesting and helpful talking to everyone about how they got into their careers, especially since I have just applied to university this last week but am unsure if this is the choice for me!
