The Chair of the Royal Exchange Theatre Board, Armoghan Mohammed, is retiring due to personal reasons and is stepping away from all his trustee commitments.
The Royal Exchange Board and Leadership Team offer particular thanks to Armoghan for his deep commitment and contribution to the Theatre.
His tenure ended on 6 January, and the Royal Exchange will commence a search for his replacement. During this time, the Board will be led by Co Chairs, afshan d’souza-lodhi and Jo Taylor, supported by Deputy Chair, Alison Loveday.
Incoming co-chair afshan d’souza-lodhi said “Everyone at the Royal Exchange Board offer their sincere thanks to Armoghan for his deep commitment and contribution to the Theatre. Over the last 18 months the theatre has continued to grow audiences for both award-winning new writing and celebrated classics. We wish him well for a long and happy retirement.”
