Intergen is a programme that brings members of our Young Company and Elders Company together to talk, play and create.
We run a programme of intergenerational work that regularly brings the members of the Young and Elders Company together to collaborate. They do this in a number of ways, including taking part in:
- Talk-based workshops to discuss theatre as well as age and culture in Manchester
- Practical skills-based sessions to explore a specific aspect of theatre-making (often led by theatre professionals involved in making work for our stages)
- Performance projects

Some really engaging discussion at the Intergen forum this morning. It was great to hear Young Company and Elders alike talking openly and honestly about gender issues. I'm sure a few of us are looking at ourselves differently now.
