Rochdale Creates and Rochdale Development Agency are delighted to announce three paid placements for mid-career creatives in Rochdale at The FestiDale this August. Applications now open!
Supported by Rochdale Creates and Rochdale Development Agency, we are proud to offer three paid placements at The FestiDale this August for aspiring creatives:
- Event Management Placement
- Evaluation Insights Assistant Placement
- Social Media & Content Creation Assistant Placement
The placements are aimed at creatives of any discipline, who have gained work and volunteering experience in organisations or through their own practice, or have recently graduated and are looking to expand their skills and experience to take the next step in their career.
Applicants must be 18 years or older, we are particularly interested in candidates who live or work in Rochdale Borough.
The placement programme is part of Rochdale Creates’ programme of work, funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, supported by Rochdale Development Agency and Rochdale Borough Council, and hosted by the Royal Exchange Theatre.
Application Deadline: 18th of July 2024, midday.

About The FestiDale
There’s a fantastic summer ahead at The FestiDale, our two-week community art’s festival held in our eco-friendly mobile theatre The Den, hosted at Kingsway Park High School from Thursday 8th August to Sunday 18th August 2024. With a pay-what-you-can model, each production, workshop and activity is accessible and open to everyone who wants to come along.
Curated by our Rochdale Ambassadors and Champions with days dedicated to families, performances featuring both professional and community performers and opportunities for the people of Rochdale to take centre stage, there’s something for everyone in this brilliant programme.
The FesitDale is part of Local Exchange, The Royal Exchange Theatre’s ambitious long-term programme co-curated with Ambassadors and Champions in communities across Greater Manchester.
