Be creative, sustainable and thrifty with your designs!
In this workshop, we’ll look at what the role of a theatre designer is, how to design for theatre and how to think creatively to get the most out of a design with a budget.
We’ll then break into groups and have a go at model making a set set together based on the prompts given.
To access this course you must either have a Collective membership or purchase a ticket for £10.
Each Collective workshop can be purchased for £10 per workshop, or full year access with a Collective membership (£80)
A membership will give you free access to all workshops for the full year
The cost of courses will vary depending on the nature and duration of the course.
Our Arts Pot scheme offers financial support for anyone who needs it. Arts Pot can be used to help cover project, membership and workshop fees, and the cost of travel to and from the Theatre. We fundraise for the Arts Pot every year and it is there for anyone who needs it! Please note we only provide Arts Pot travel within the Greater Manchester area.

No, we do not require you to have any experience in order to attend Collective workshops. All we require is for you to be open minded and willing to learn! Our groups are usually a brilliant mix of people who are considering a career in theatre and those that are just looking for a space to be creative and connect with other people, there is something for everyone!
