Learn from a professional director how to work with texts to get a story on its feet through working with actors.
You’ll also develop tips on how to navigate script work.

Who will be facilitating this workshop?
This workshop will be facilitated by Rosie Thackery.
Rosie (she/her) is a theatre director from South East London who works predominantly with new writing. She is currently the Literary Coordinator of the Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting, the biggest playwriting competition in Europe, developing the work of writers around the world and overseeing the Prize’s 20th anniversary. Rosie is a reader at the Royal Court Theatre, a trustee at Tramshed, and was New Wave Theatre Producer for Bloomsbury Festival 2022.
Rosie has trained at the National Theatre, the Royal Court Theatre and the Royal Exchange Theatre. She has facilitated workshops for young people, people with experiences of addiction and people in prison.
