Audio drama is a powerful storytelling medium, reaching large numbers of audiences every day.

Come and explore the world of dramatic sound….Award winning audio drama producer Polly Thomas (www.pollythomas.org.uk) and Nickie Miles Wildin (award winning theatre and audio director) will introduce you to the world of audio drama, playing extracts, running practical exercises and answering questions.
The workshop will focus on an upcoming Radio 4 drama. We are working together on a bold new audio version of a Charles Dickens classic Our Mutual Friend, dramatised for audio by Dan Rebellato (www.danrebellato.co.uk). Set in Victorian London, the novel covers greed, love, murder, deceit and the value of dust. Think Succession meets One Day meets in the 19th century.  Originally published in serial form, we are developing new ideas for an audio podcast  that takes these themes for today
