The Leigh, Atherton and Tyldesley Local Exchange Ambassadors wanted to engaged with people locally who were currently unemployed for their Front Of House training programme.
This project was designed for unemployed people aged 16+ to develop confidence, communication and work skills, no previous customer service skills were necessary. Through an eight week course, which included theatre trips, shadowing opportunities, role play and a lot of laughter, the group worked together with Royal Exchange Theatre staff, to become part of the Front Of House team for the Den at Spinners Mill. Some of the participants have gone into full time roles at the Royal Exchange Theatre.
