The Royal Exchange’s brand-new Young Company show, THE SURVIVORS’ GUIDE TO LIVING, explores what it means to radically find happiness, yourself and imagination when the world feels like it doesn't make sense.

Gather with the Award-Winning Young Company for a revolutionary protest for joy and join the fight for our mental health, the environment, politics and connection.

Co-created by writer Zodwa Nyoni and the Royal Exchange Young Company Performers. Directed by 2017 Young Company alumni Anna Berentzen, THE SURVIVORS’ GUIDE TO LIVING will help you find a way back to yourself after being lost from a period of uncertainty.

All performances will include integrated British Sign Language Translation.

  • VENUE: The Theatre, the Royal Exchange Theatre

    Thursday 26 August, 7.30pm

    Friday 27 August, 7.30pm

    Saturday 28 August, 7.30pm

    RUNNING TIME: 60 minutes (no interval)

    TICKET PRICES: Standard Tickets range from £8 - £12. Concessions available.

    BOOKING: Tickets are available to buy online

    When your booking is complete, you will receive two emails. The first email will be your Order Confirmation. The second email will contain your e-tickets. You'll need the e-tickets within this email to show upon entry to the Theatre. If you don't receive this email, you can check your online account and once logged in, scroll down to the option 'E-Tickets' and all your current and past e-tickets will be here. If your tickets aren't here or there is a problem downloading them, please contact our Visitor Experience Team.

    TICKET TERMS & CONDITIONS:

    • Tickets and vouchers cannot be exchanged or money refunded - unless we have to cancel a performance, you have covid symptoms or a positive diagnosis, or are self-isolating due to possible contact with covid. More information

    • Due to social distancing, our seating for in-person shows is arranged in bubbles, which are groups of tickets containing a specific number of seats (1, 2, 3 or 4) next to each other in one row. Please choose where to sit based on the number of seats you need. Due to social distancing, there are no group discounts for in-person shows. 

    • Please do not attend if you have Covid symptoms, a positive test result or are required to isolate.
